Sakara

Sakara is a high-end company offering gluten-free, plant-based (dairy-free, egg-free), organic meals suited for a “clean eating” diet. All meals are delivered ready to eat, not frozen. We fell in love with the Thai veggie medley bowl topped with red pepper lemongrass curry. The weekly plan includes breakfast, lunch and dinner for five days, with functional water and detox tea, at about $90 a day, $450 total. Subscribe to the service to save 15%. BlueButterfly

BlueButterfly provides precooked and prepackaged gluten-free meals ready to heat in the oven or microwave with a fine dining (think: beef bourguignon and cremini pasta in herb kale sauce) and a café-style option (think: cornflake chicken, turkey meatballs). For two people, with three meals a week, the fine dining package is about $19 a meal. The café meals are priced around $14.50 a meal and there’s no minimum. You can add freshly made desserts to any plan. The meals are celiac safe but may contain some of the big 8 allergens. Pete’s Paleo offers certified paleo meals free from gluten, dairy, eggs, soy, corn, legumes, preservatives, GMOs, artificial sweeteners and natural sweeteners (like honey and maple syrup). These seasonal and organic meals come premade in vacuum-sealed bags, ready for the microwave. Expect flavorful, clean meals like garlic braised lamb shoulder with curry parsnip mash and broccoli. Paleo on the Go offers certified paleo, dairy-free, non-GMO meals made in a certified gluten-free kitchen. They offer autoimmune protocol (AIP), Strict 30 and sugar detox meals, too. The Gluten Free Feast is $199 for a one-time purchase of 25 frozen meals, like kale and quinoa salad, golden chickpea stew and eggplant casserole. All entrees are made in a facility that also processes foods containing wheat, soy, nuts and seeds.

Terra’s Kitchen offers multiple plans, including gluten-free, paleo and vegan meals. Fresh ingredients are packaged in the exact measurement you need for meals you cook yourself. Potential allergens are labeled online and on recipe cards. Terra’s Kitchen uses climate-controlled eco-friendly shipping boxes, which are picked up the next day and reused.
